Place des Arts will work with local elementary schools (Alderson, Rochester and Mountain View) to identify and recommend eligible students for ArtReach. Place des Arts will also collaborate with 4 professional arts instructors to develop arts programming and work with 10 youth volunteers to facilitate the camp. 

During the week, students will participate in activities that emphasize teamwork and collaboration between artistic disciplines. The week will culminate in a final performance that showcases the students’ new skills. Students will gain confidence and self-esteem by engaging in an integrated learning experience. Courses in dance, drama, acrobatics and music build communication skills, while courses in visual arts, such as prop-making, develop problem solving skills.
